This activity will focus on providing training in marketing and business strategies to women-owned small and medium enterprises on the morama bean as a cash crop or value added products for domestic, regional and global markets. 

Market Matters Inc. will be the consortium partner in South Africa largely responsible for enhancing the marketing aspects of the morama beans in selected communities in Botswana and Namibia. They will be responsible for strategy, implementation and coordination of specific activities focused on the socio-economic and food security situation in the communities and provision of marketing training to empower women to transform indigenous grains into a commercially viable Agribusiness.  MM Inc has already conducted some trainings since the commencement of the project and have also produced the first baseline survey which is now being reviewed by the consortium partners.
